T'Pol's application of Vulcan neuro-pressure not only helped, but Tucker also began to develop romantic feelings for T'Pol. The baby, a girl, was named Elizabeth after Trip's sister who was killed in the Xindi attack on Earth. She acted as "chaperone", in exchange for the Vulcan provision of star charts and the Klingon linguistic database , but was not immediately accepted by the crew.
